Daring Deli — Online Ordering System

A production online ordering system built from the ground up for Daring Deli, a sandwich and burger restaurant in Cipete Utara, Jakarta. Go backend (Fiber, pgx, asynq) and Next.js 14 frontend, self-hosted on a single VPS with Docker and Caddy.

Customers browse the menu, order, and pay by QRIS, then follow their order status live over WebSocket. Staff work from an admin panel with a kitchen display, thermal receipt printing straight from the browser over ESC/POS, menu and category management, dynamic role-based permissions, an audit log, and sales reports exported to Excel in the format Indonesian restaurant tax filing (PB1) expects.

Order confirmations reach customers on WhatsApp through an asynq queue feeding n8n and WAHA, keeping API handlers fast under load. The database layer is split read/write behind PgBouncer so a read replica can be added without touching application code.
